Forces and Art

This term is all about forces and motion and the wonderful Ms Eadie has been at it again using art to teach gravity. For this wonderful piece of art the kids dropped balls with paint on them from different heights to see what kind of mark it would leave. It looked fantastic and it has made us even more excited "I Like to Move It!"

Our Marble Run

This term we are learning all about forces and motion. How and why things move. As part of our immersion day each person made a piece for our marble run. After a long wait and lots of thinking about how we would put it together our marble run was finally completed and here it is.

When we put marbles down different paths we see them travel at different speeds. We love our new marble run.

I like to move it!

This term our inquiry learning theme is I like to move it! We are learning about our physical world and what makes movement happen.

In team 3 we are learning about how movement is occurring in our everyday lives. We are also learning to make different objects and machines that demonstrate movement.

A video made by the team 3 teachers that shows some of the things we will be learning this term.

Immersion Day

Today we learnt about physics and explore different way we could make things move. We also created lot of cool art about movement including paper planes.

We are so excited for this term and learning more about movement and the science behind it.
